Acer Aspire AM5640-E5407A Intel Powered Desktop PCEven with today’s high standards, single core processors and DVD drives are still very much usable. But there comes a certain point where the need to upgrade to next-generation equipment becomes more apparent.

You don’t want the rest of the computing world to leave you behind in the dust—especially in terms of digital entertainment! Of course, one of the major reasons why it’s hard to upgrade to newer components is price. With the Acer Aspire M5640 desktop PC, that’s all about to change. Featuring a healthy combination of some of the newest technologies around (priced at an agreeable cost) you can finally aspire to the next generation of digital entertainment, and so much more.

Get into the Next Big Thing

Intel Q6600 Core 2 Quad ProcessorThe brains of the Acer Aspire M5640 desktop PC is the ultra-powerful 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 processor. Knowing that this CPU is a quad-core processor should be enough. For the uninitiated however, it means it has four complete execution cores within a single CPU. It’s like having the power of four processors all rolled into one efficient package. This processor alone makes the Acer Aspire M5640 desktop PC an absolute beast when it comes to multi-tasking, playing the latest games, high-definition video, business applications, and content-creativity software. Boundaries are almost non-existent with a processor as powerful as this one.

HD DVD and Blu-ray LogoNext in line in Acer Aspire M5640 desktop PC’s set of cutting-edge features is its Blu-ray and HD-DVD combo drive. Yes, you read that right. This single drive can play either of the two rival high-definition formats. Do you know what that means for you? Simply put, it doesn’t matter if your favorite title comes out on Blu-ray or was released on HD DVD during it’s short life, you won’t miss a second of High Definition awesomeness. Consider this as one of the privileges that the Acer Aspire M5640 can offer you.

The PC even has a WinTV tuner card, thus extending the amount of entertainment options for you. On the other hand, its 500 gigabyte SATA II hard disk allows you to store thousands upon thousands of media files. Besides all that, the Acer Aspire M5640 also features a multiple flash card reader, front and top accessible audio, FireWire, and USB 2.0 ports AND ALSO HAS A BUILT-IN HDMI PORT FOR TRUE 1080p DIGITAL VIDEO AND AUDIO FROM YOUR PC TO YOUR TELEVISION. haseeb – before you format did you make a copy of the acer folder located in your c:\ ??

because with that folder. you can reinstall all the drivers… they got 1 partition whereby all the drivers are stored inside… nowadays all the branded Pc doesnt give you the CD anymore.. they will put up a small partition mainly for the drivers. hit alt + F10 when the Acer logo appears to enter the recovery system.
