Pioneer DEHP5000UB CD ReceiverPioneer has been bringing you affordable high-end car audio equipment for years, and you’d think they’d have hit a wall by now. Not even close! The Pioneer DEHP5000UB CD Receiver sets a new high water mark for affordable head units.

With connectivity for MP3, iPod, and USB devices, the DEHP5000UB is much more than just a CD player. With three pre-outs and MOSFET 50 watts x4 to power your interior speakers, this is a great unit upon which to build your system. Hint: it’s also the perfect replacement for your old factory receiver as well!

High Quality Car Audio for Less!

Sporting modern looks and a surface polished to a high shine, the Pioneer DEHP5000UB CD Receiver just might be one of the most stunning car audio receivers available in its price range. Dressed in black with silver accents in all the perfect spots, it’ll beautify your car’s dashboard. The 7-way Rotary Commander doesn’t just add to the beauty of the device, it also makes it easier to control. The 2-line fold-down OEL display projects information and receiver data vividly, making it easy to see exactly what station you’re on. The OEL display offers several benefits over traditional LCDs, mainly power consumption, since it doesn’t have to use a backlight. They’re also thinner than most LCD panels, thus giving the receiver a cool, contemporary look.

Once you hear the DEHP5000UB pumping audio,
you’ll have no qualms agreeing that it’s an ear-pleasing masterpiece. The Pioneer DEHP5000UB CD Receiver boasts a built-in MOSFET 50-Watt x 4 amplifier, as well as Supertuner IIID advanced analog and digital processing. MOSFET, a technology used to amplify electronic signals, allows the receiver to produce powerful, crystal-clear sound with an almost nonexistent amount of distortion. Even at higher volumes, the output remains pristine. Supertuner IIID technology delivers exceptional FM and AM performance because it eliminates ambient signal noise. And the signal remains strong even when you’re around tall buildings. Adding external amps and speakers is a piece of cake, thanks to the three RCA Hi-Volt pre-outs found in the unit.

Other than its support for standard audio CDs, the Pioneer DEHP5000UB CD Receiver also supports MP3, WMA and AAC files burned on your USB-compatible portable media player. These music files sound just as good as true music CDs because of Pioneer’s Advanced Sound Retriever technology. This technology is capable of restoring data that may have been lost during the digital compression process. Ultimately, it results to an unparalleled listening experience.

Other built-in features include Link Search, which shows you all the songs of the artist you’re currently listening to; Passenger Control Mode, Pioneer DEHP5000UB CD Receiverwhich allows passengers to control the iPod directly when connected to the head unit for playback; and basic shuffle features.

For the true sound enthusiast (on a budget!), the Pioneer DEHP5000UB CD Receiver is an excellent choice. Trust me, once you hear it, you’re going to be a Pioneer fan for life!

What a crock! There is no way that an MP3 can sound anywhere near the quality of an original 44.1 recorded CD. (The ones you buy in stores). Claiming that this system has “sound retrieval technology” that will make a 1.5 megabyte file sound as good as an original which would average 40 megabytes is a complete lie and Pioneer should be sued for even having the audacity to deceive the public like this to make money. I have been recording audio professionally for over 25 years and there is NO WAY to restore or retrieve data that was deleted during the compression process of converting to an MP3. Shame on Pioneer for lying twice in the same ad!

Mr.Nelson I’m not sure even such and audiophile such as yourself would be able to hear the difference in a moving car, maybe with the windows open.

I have the 6000ub and it sounds great. Of course it’s not exactly the same as 100% cd quality audio, but how buys cd’s anymore? (I can’t believe I’m saying that, but it’s true)
